What is the best product or method for removing the fish smell off your hands after cleaning fish? I usually clean fish at lake before heading home and wash my hands throughly but they still smell "fishy". I use scentaway soap in liquid form...works better than anything I have ever tried...keep some in my truck, boat and bathroom...nuff said.

Cocoa butter soap and then hand sanitizer gel. Works great.

Jacob, that is what the scent away liquid soap is...hunting body wash...and it saves you from all the gadget ideas of how to get the smell off...lots of ideas more or less work...this stuff works quick and easy...the deskunk thing the vet does will work too, it is just a pain to mess with for fish.

+1 on shaving cream. Just takes a dab. Use like hand lotion. do not rinse. Works great.

Toothpaste or rub them on stainless steel. I just rub all over my sink and it helps. Troutguide is correct about the stainless steel. Cold water running and rubbing your hands around the sink is what my dad taught me. It neutralizes the smell. That is why they sell stainless steel shaped like a bar of soap. You can find these in most outdoor sections of stores.

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

Remove any odor from your hands with the extremely useful Stainless Steel Rub Away Bar. This handy kitchen addition is absolutely perfect for using after handling onions, fish, garlic, or other pungent foods.

I use that cheap, gas station knock off cologne. Usually less than $3 and comes in a spray bottle. I think that the alcohol in it is what does the trick. It gets the smell of Danny Kings Punch Bait off my hands. Unfortunately, my wife thinks I went to a titty bar if I don't bring home fish.

I've always had good luck with grabbing a handful of mud and rubbing it in then washing off. Sounds kinda redneck but works like a charm.
