What is the best product or method for removing the fish smell off your hands after cleaning fish? I usually clean fish at lake before heading home and wash my hands throughly but they still smell "fishy".

Toothpaste....try it. I keep some Aquafresh in my knife bag.

The trick is not to get any fish smell on your hands, use some latex gloves

I just use Lemon scented wipes

Shaving cream, rub it in till about gone then rinse hands.

Hmmm ... I am always trying to get that smell on my hands. But when I do I use liquid dish soap.

Auto mechanic's Permatex Fast Orange works for me. Some have pumice if you want extra cleaning power.

eat a bag of hot pork rinds on way home,..then lick fingers real good,..works..

As mentioned above... I wash my hands with tooth paste.

I've also tried a lot of the stuff mentioned and it only removes some of the smell on my hands. The citrus stuff does a pretty good job, but doesn't completely remove it for me. I haven't tried the toothpaste trick yet, so I'm going to give that a try.

The best thing I've found is washing with a lemon hand soap first. Then, I pour Listerine in my hand and rub it in really good. Re-wash with the lemon hand soap.

Rottin skunk is really hard to get off.
