I'd wait until James at falcon lake tackle gives his take on this before I head down there

They interviewed James on one of the TV stations down there. I think it was out of Laredo. He was pretty much middle of the road on his answers.

Word is that these guys had a couple of rods on the boat, but zero tackle. Investigators have a good idea of what went down. Hopefully they will make a statement soon. I can't say more right now..

Go fishing. .

My brother in law and I have been planning a trip to Falcon for months. We're still going to do it. I'll be on the water the week before Christmas come hell or high water!

Hate to see any business suffer because of negative press. I know there are places in the DFW area that are just as dangerous as the area around Falcon. I don't hang out there either.

That was the problem last time, a lot of negative press that left more questions than answers. Not that I hear everything, but I have never heard of a fisherman down there that was fishing (minding their own business) that ever had a problem on either side of the lake. If I could, I would not hesitate to fish down there now. If anyone is looking to go but has concerns, contact James or Tom at Falcon Tackle. They will not give you in bum info or BS on anything like this.
