Hey, guys, I have never been to Lavon but am thinking about going tomorrow. So can you help me with some hotspots? Like hybrid point, dam, etc? A google map would help a lot.

right now the winter season is coming,the bank fishing turn to slowly,but they still bite,you can check about the little ridge park-lavonia park-pebble beach park and hybrid point[489 left turn to 487 all the way to bank]good luck and good fishing.

KFJ is right. I went this morning and it was much slower than last week. Only a few fishermen were there. Caught about 10 in 3 hours.
Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth.
Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth.
Wind from the east, the fish bite least.
Wind from the west, the fish bite best..

Got to work it sloooow! Close to the bottom. Shad are still shallow. Better later in the morning.. Like around 10ish. Was the report I got. I will possibly hit it early. Temps are getn cooler for sure so yea they maybe moving?! May need to switch up tactics and hit some blues From the bank! All I know is lavon is chocked with bait

Just got back. Fish started to splash around/show at 930. A little slow early, got a few fly fishing then more consistently on spoons after that. Mostly just over/under 10". Gave a bleeder to the next guys down and released the rest.

 this is today fishing with new forum friend[first time fishing with sandy],slowly and small but still had fun for the new angler.

,slowly and small but still had fun for the new angler. I think that was probably you guys to my left, then -- I was in the blue shirt. Went back this morning for more of the same until the fish got very picky around 11:30 -- the were still up chasing shad, but didn't want to hit anything I was throwing. Maybe too many naturals in the water. Ended with another 15 or so. I would expect them to stick around until we get another big temp drop on Fri/Sat.

hi,nice to met you there saturday buddy, when the water temperature drop to 65,it's no good for sandy,they didn't come by the bank much .only the small one .season almost done, hope see you around there next week end.

 today noon fishing from 12-3:30 pm limited ,i pick the noon because sunny and sw wind 9-10 mph.
