 rc season done and try lavon dam fishing with my brother .time to move up there before the gate shut down. good luck everybody!!!!!

Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth.
Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth.
Wind from the east, the fish bite least.
Wind from the west, the fish bite best..

before the gate shut down? What did you catch them off of? Heading there now. if they shut down the gate no water release.the fishing can't come by there.everybody knew that buddy...

cast close to the third pillar close the other other side of the wall. big sand bass there

What kind of bait to use when fishing at Lavon Dam. Come on man... Read through the thread. before the gate shut down? What did you catch them off of? Heading there now. surf rod, big weighted bobber, and a large jig.

Not a bad day today. Came out with KFJ and Jamie who is new to fishing. caught a couple of big ones! We used spinners and swimbait. Good color today was gold, silver, and green.

Thank you Jimmy for inviting me out to the dam this morning. Biggest fish I've caught in my 2 weeks as a fisherman!!! Had a great time! haha nice catch on your first white bass ever! The fight was fun right!?
