If you have CHL you can open carry anywhere you can concealed carry, except state parks, or if private property is posted.
Also note, Palestine is controlled by the Neches River Authority not COE (COE does not allow any kind of carry to my knowledge) and it is not a state park. i Believe the law is you can have a firearm in the boat on any lake that isn't COE, but COE is a no no because it's federal property. Regardless, i support your right to open carry and I'm glad to see you being responsible about it. That being said those are some awesome picture and looks like you made some good memories. Well done sir.

You hit on all cylinders. Catching fish, with your family, on your hand-tied jigs, and Haddie getting to see "her" jig catch fish!! Memories that will last a lifetime. Great job.

Hey, Bud, U made some life long memories with Ur Daughter. My Daughter remembers our trips together.....that both of us enjoyed!!!
