Heddon Super Spook

One of my favorite baits for schooling fish is a Super Spook. It's time tested and a well proven winner.

Strike King Red Eye Shad

Another great catcher is the Red Eye Shad. This is for when they're super active in the school. Throw it past em', let it shimmy down a little bit, and then reel n' pop it.

Don't laugh but a 3/4oz pro series rooster tail is awesome. Small profile, casts a mile. Only place I've seen 'em is tackle warehouse. Seriously, it's worth a look. Spook jr. ain't bad either.

I like the Strike King red eye shad. Anything color with white in it works best for me.

When I see schooling fish. I dig around in my rod box looking for the Rod on bottom that has an A-Rig I never use tied to it. By the time I get it out, they are gone and I move down the lake and fish somewhere else.

Thanks, Billy

Clear Torpedo, Near Nothin, or ( showing my age) Boy Howdy. I always thought fish couldn't tell the size of clear top waters and struck the commotion.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

With three kids in the boat, we don't throw baits with treble hooks..(not into body piercing)...So when the bass are schooling and everybody in the boat goes into every man for himself hyperdrive, trying to cast gets dicey...So I have found a baby brush hog works wonderful, just peg the weight and you can fish the entire water column.

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

This is me right here. If I have a bait out, I usually throw whatever rod is in my hand on the deck and pick up another and throw into them before they go back under. Seems like a Rat-L-Trap or a Mid-diver works best. Something you can cast far and move fast.
