Has anyone tried the new Seaguar Flipping line? Yes Ken. Down at Sugar, you needed beefy stuff to pull those chunks out of the trees. I had Denny Brauer Flippin 30 on two reels and didn't break off once.

For those who are saying InvisX, even those that have had some break offs with them, what is the typical lb test you are using? 20lb?
Also, as some have mentioned, do you use certain lines or lb test for certain methods? Such as flipping, pitching, cranking, Carolina rig etc? 17 is what I use mostly but use 12 for cranking and 20-25 for flippin and pitchin cover.

McCoy's Flouro 100 anyone? Thin diameter per # test, strong, very good abrasion restance, virtually no spool memory making the line handle well. I used to use Invizx almost exclusively before trying McCoy's. I have used Mean Green for years for my mono, so I thought I would try the flouro. Glad I did.

For the ones that have the breaks, how long are you leaving this line on before you change it out?? I personally run invisix and like it a lot. As others have mentioned I went through a spell about a year ago where I broke off a few good fish on 17# Invisix that I changed every month or so. I switched to Sniper and Shooter and have not had the problem again.

I like Red Label for the price. The 20 # is a little gnarly but I'm usually using it with heavier weights, so no problem. It really pained me when they discontinued the 17# which I was using for some of the lighter weights in woody cover. The 15# is a good tough line for fishing in more open cover like rocks or scattered grass. I think 15# Red Label is tougher than 15# Invisx.
