acbrown, did you do well getting carps there? i am having a little trouble trying to get an idea where you are talking about. could you pm me the coordinate, so i can plot in on the google map?

lines = places where I see carp running...
I fish there for bass... the carp and gar are ALWAYS there... there are massive schools of them at pier121 marina which is close by.... so they come into that area when the water is up.... in huge schools

someone has 2 really nice large dogs that go out there and fish together.... took me awhile to figure out how the fish bones on the shore actually got there.... the dogs wade out and run fish shore LOL..
I packed up my gear one day and just watched em... cause they were putting me to shame! hahhahah

haha.. read your posting carefully and got the catch point. i need to throw away my gear and get myself a dog..

with all this rain we are getting, they should be STACKED on the shore if the lake raises a foot or 2....
You wont even need to really do more than drop the line in the water lol!
