Ive caught bass on buzzbaits at high noon before no problem. I think its just a confidence thing.

My last trip to Alan Henry I threw a yellow magic almost all day. Caught fish all day. I had a few mid-day lulls it overall it produced at all hours. Was a somewhat cloudy day which helped. Not catching big ones but some wonderful blow ups will really get your heart pumping.

I did find most hits came on the pause. Two were caught before I even had a chance to pop it once. The absolute most fun way to catch fish and a great way to get a young angler hooked on fishing early.

I throw YM all year and all day long. I throw it, let it sit 10 to 15 seconds, give it one little pop, maybe two, let sit and hang on. I won many tournaments with it and surprised everyone at weigh-in that didn't catch squat on top water.

I have no set cadence and I have been destroying em!!!! I may pop it 3 times real fast then just let it sit there, lots of luck doing that. Mix it up ,make sure you make it look sexy for em and they'll eat

This confirms yet again i suck at fishing. Threw one for three hours and fish were breaking everywhere and couldn't get them to hi my YM.

Tie it on with a loop knot: Pop-Pop..pause..Pop-Pop-Pop- pause and then KONG attacks

a loop knot....I'm bad enough with it on 10lb braid. I seem to foul hook the line on 1 in 5 casts. A loop knot, for me at least, would make it worse. Hahah

Great plug. Have been out fishing many other baits with ym for over a month. I pop it pretty hard, then let it set about 10 sec, then pop it once again. Caught a 5.5 on it today. I replace rear hook with a dressed 4 gamakatsu. The anticipation is like a good movie.

I have before but only when it is overcast. I vary the retrieve. sometimes the slow plop plop plop and other times plop plop pause plop plop plop.

I need to try it on a sunny day though. I am one of those guys that put it away when the sun gets up.
