Shame on KYKX for taking away the prizes. Freakin Money HOUNDS!! That right there is what happens when corporations take over small local businesses. Glad I got XM radio!

Not taking up for KYKX, but was it their decision or Skeeter's to not give away the boat? The irony of it all is that this man who won has worked in a chemical plant for the last 25+ years of his life, making the very resin used to make Skeeter boats. And then the year they stop giving away a brand new boat to the winner is the year he wins. Go figure.

KYKX said they couldn't find a sponsor for the boat.
If you do the math on the entries, advertisement Dollars they make on tshirts, radio ads, print, ect....they make more on that tournament than they do all year long. They play a song then the commercial for months....

I'm pretty sure that this was the lowest turn out in years. I did not see near as much boat traffic as I had in the last five years.

My partner and I caught 93 fish in two days and not one of them was over 4lbs.  I wish I knew what you were doing. We went fishing a few days before the BBB and caught two fish. A large crappie and a very small bass. We didn't fish the BBB though.

Did anyone win the infamous mystery weight??? Supposedly nobody caught the "Mystery Weight" I didn't really understand that whole thing.

The mystery weight was impossible 3.461 I think. what are the odds of catching a fish, that weighs the exact amount down to the thousandth of a pound.

With a mystery weight that low nobody I know would make that run for that. My son was doing junior and would only make it if we caught something bigger for that.

3rd place hourly didn't even win your money back... I also read in the tournament rules and this is the way that I interpreted it, was the only way to double your money wearing the tshirt was to win BB of the hour..

Glad I didn't try to fish this one. It sounds like a lot of changes to make it much worse than it has been in the past.
