I really like Loomis. They make a rod for just about everything and the NRX is about the lightest thing out there. I've picked up a few of the Power Tackle and they seem sweet as well! Good luck

I am a big believer in having all one brand as well. It took me a couple or three years to get em all the same, but all I have is Power Tackle rods and lews reels. I am in maintenance mode now and only buy when I need/want to replace, which fortunately is not very often.

I've got a boat full of Falcon cara's and st. Croix's. Been replacing old rods with St. Croix's. I love my Falcon Lowrider rods and a few St. Croix Avids.

Like jipped I have all Shimano reels and a bunch of different rods with most of them being the old style Shimano crucials which I have had the guides and tips replaced.
Newer rods include St Croix, Doybns, Kistler, G. Loomis and most recently Reel Time Rods
