Kistler all the way. Trey offers something in all price points and all techniques. His ZBone line is among the best in the industry. Agree. Tell Trey what you want to use it for and he will recommend a rod. He doesn't pick the most expensive line either. I have Magnesium 2, Magnesium TS, and a couple of Helium 3s. Next will be a KLX. I'm sure he would recommend the Carbon Steel if its the best fit for your needs.

look at Impulse rods. They are absolutely fantastic. Moved from kistler zbone to these rods and have never looked back!http://impulserods.com/index/

There are alot of great rods out there but I prefer Dobyns and G. Loomis. It all depends on what technique I'm using as to which rod application I choose.

I will be the odd man out, as all I have is Kistler's and Castaway. Have been fishing the Castaways since the early 90s and have no problems.
