can try calling hummingbird and they might be able to send one or you may have to buy the entire hardware kit. try dave goodson at shut up and fish might have them as well. Prices vary a good bit also

This can really be big help also http://www.transducershieldandsaver.com/product/sbb-4-spring-back-bracket/

Yes that part is what is held in the stainless steel clamp. The clamp is the tension device for the breakaway function.

PM me your mailing address and I'll send you that part.

I installed a helix 7 in Oct. Due to some health issues I was not able to put the boat in the water until a week ago. I did power the unit up in the shop. I mounted the transducer on the jack plate via a transducer shield and saver bracket per instruction. when I finally got on the water the DI screen was totally black and the side imaging would only come from the right side and it was a very poor image. Anyone with any Ideas or suggestions before I call the hummingbird techs.

I've got a Helix 5 DI/ GPS that I just bought new. Installed the unit on my pontoon boat yesterday and it won't power up. I've tested all connections and even hooked up a different hummingbird cable to a different battery and still nothing. Any ideas why the unit won't turn on?

Do you have the connector plugged in the correct way in the back of the unit. It can be easy for some to get backwards. Take the power connector out of the collector and plug in straight to the unit and see if that helps

It has a notch on the + side of the cable and only goes in 1 way. I tested it there at the plug with a digital voltage meter to make sure all was well. Straight from battery and off of fuse block I have 13.25 volts. I've tried it with and without the transducer plugged in and 2 different power cables.

Took my new Helix 10 SI out for the first time today and ran into a school of sandbass/hybrids as soon as I pulled out to open water.
