If you truly have Gators swim to the docks, some D.B.'s has been feeding them or throwing the leftovers out in the water. That Gator now sees humans as a food source, are you starting to get the idea? Females as in most species are the most aggressive. All of these Gators will have to be Trapped, Moved or Destroyed all because of some real stupid people. We have this go on in Florida with the snowbirds and they are just now starting to enforce a law that has some teeth in it. I cannot wait for the next tourist season, as I understand the daily bag limit has increased. Dan Yep, it usually boils down to idiots. Cheers, George

Inside Wolf there is one that hangs around the docks on the east side. He surfaced about 5ft from right along side the boat. I stopped throwing that spinner bait at that point. Didn't want to have to "lip" him.

MY neighbor, who fishes Fork all the time, told me he saw the biggest gator he ever saw on Thursday. Said he had to be around 12'. Was with am 8'. They tried to get a picture but when the bass boat got closer they slide under the water.
Was not really in an area where people swim but at night they will move big distances to find food. Probably not the same one Red seen in Birch.

They're definitely in there. I don't know how many, but they've been there long enough for some to get quite large. Makes you kick each log twice when duck hunting. Especially teal season.

If we still owned the farm I was raised on NW of Yantis... right on Birch Creek... I'd be living on some water front property right now. LOL I can tell you that 60 years ago, there were no gators in Birch Creek. I squirrel hunted and fished that creek back in the 1950's. I don't ever remember seeing any deer... not even the tracks. I did have a 36 inch pet alligator when my dad owned a bait and tackle shop on Century Lake in Sulphur Springs. Dad gave it to some guy in Hopkins County to put in his farm pond... to keep people from sneaking in and fishing... you don't suppose that could be my old pet gator do you? LOL Things sure have changed... bet they don't sell many belly boats around Lake Fork these days. LOL
