Great catch guys! But I'm willing to bet that they weren't caught in RC!

They do look small to me compare to his arms. But, everything is relative. Maybe his arms are big and long (?) that make the fish look small(?).

Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth.
Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth.
Wind from the east, the fish bite least.
Wind from the west, the fish bite best.

Went out yesterday and caught another limit of sandies with a client and his daughter. Theyre piled up just south of the railroad tracks below 78. His daughter wore out the crappie and hybrids on minnows. We were throwing curly tail jigs and stocked up the freezer for a fish fry.

Easy catching, youll actually need waders down there.

The fish dont magically disappear. Theyll be there for a few more days. Just like in the creeks when the flow gets low, they dont just evacuate the creeks.

I didn't know they were that far upstream. I tried behind the Firewheel mall, a little downstream of 78 last Saturday and got skunked. Thank you for the report.

Lol, actually they will. The flow cuts off and the water level starts dropping, the fish will retreat. 90% of them anyways. They know if they don't get back to the lake, they're going to get stuck. They don't like being stuck.
