The creek along the greenbelt had been ok for bass and crappie between the rains when it was warm. Its too cold and muddy to venture back there now.
See guys fishing by the new bridge between floods.

I have not fished the creek in years, we used to park off Firewheel parkway. Is this still an option?

Bad or good news....depending on how you see it.
The dam at the new Miller bridge is not completely gone. Now the the water has gone down a bit its obvious it's still there.
I might stop one day and ask if there are plans to remove

Yes, they said they are going to remove it. Will they completely restore it to its original condition? I'd bet on them doing as little as they can get away with.

I'm inclined to agree. Guess the fish will all be south of the bridge

That's the way it's looked for some time now. I don't think what's left of the dam is of much consequence. We'll know soon.

You might be correct. There is less that a one foot gap though. We might need a salmon ladder soon if the water level drops

The dam below the bridge headed towards the lake is not the main concern as there is a 10 ft gap on either side, but the one on the other side of the bridge is all the way across. I was out saturday morning for 4 hours without one bit. Walk and fished all the way from the mouth to Miller Rd.
