yes sir. They have been there for about two to three weeks. Judging from all the newborn / bait fish in the creek waters, I'm thinking it will only last another two weeks or less.

fish are everywhere in the creek up to highway 78, its just getting good and will get better until the third weekend of april and then it will begin to taper out

that's where i had my first limit of sandies 6 years ago. man.. feels like it was just last week..

Nice video & thanks for sharing! I miss that place but I love my creek all to my self! It's pretty much all the same somewhat? I like the fluke technique w/ out bobber for sure.. I just don't need it where I fish. Looks like you have mastered it!

I hear you on having a creek all to yourself. I only fished it that time because the lakes I usually fish were flooded. I checked out my normal creek yesterday and easily caught 30 sandies and some under hybrids and didn't see a single person. I have found that for the most part fishing a jig off the bottom will get you bit for sandies if they are there.

Can they make it past Hwy 78? There is a little water fall there too, but on the west side the creek has a split and a wide hole there that I tried about 2 weeks ago. It was way muddy and got nothing though.

there is a natural dam that they stop at, but with rain they can easily go up that far.
