They weren't. I was standing 10ft away from the stringer and the owner was about 50 yds downstream. I had just got there and I guess he had been moving around spots. I had already called Martin before he came over about 10 minutes later, and he began casting from beside me right overtop the stringer barb and was messing around in a bucket that had been there too, right beside the stringer.

It was pathetic. You can hardly get much filet off a 10 inch sandbass, and these several had to be only 5-6 inches. You could get more meat in 1 chicken nugget from McD's than were on each of those fish.

Anybody want a fishing partner at creek for later today or for tomorrow? I haven't been to the RC since b4 they started working on Miller Rd.

is it even fishable? ground would be pretty bad and water would be all muddy.

Ok all dignity aside here is a video I made from last Tuesday at the creek. I had a version of the video without music but it had some 4 letter words on it.... so I put some you tube music with the video to cover it up. I you think the music is terrible I understand (just turn down or mute it) the music they have on you tube has little to be desired in quality. This was one of the music tracks they had that was long enough to play through most of the video and wasn't ambient music or something. At least the fishing wasn't too bad.

Rowlett creek today was the bomb, caught a 2 man limit on sandbass and threw back just as much. The only problem I have is finding the hybrids!!! Lol

In my creek fishing was slow til about 12noon.. Then feeding frenzy started on my way out the woods! Best bite this week
