If you wanna take kids go where the miller bridge is at.Then you can walk and fish along the trail. I seen several people with their kids out there. Good luck

Anyone catching any crappie? I figure the sandbass will be there, wondering about the crappie. If you found some, what color combo did you use? Thanks

Does that texaco on centerville/miller still sell minnows? havent been up that way in awhile They have [censored] minnows. Try Homeboys gas station at Chiesa and Hwy 66 in Rowlett, best minnows in town. Only 1 size, medium to large.

Sandbass are breaking the water all under Miller bridge. Between them and the raccoons saying "hi", I about had to change my underwear while night fishing there for the last few hours. 1-4am, no construction crew that I see.

Hey guys, where do I park to access the creek and catch fish? I'm guessing the fish are past firewheel parkway now. Is there a parking location there? Basically, just look at where the other 40 cars/trucks are parked. It doesn't matter what time you go, they will still be parked there. and that's on Firewheel pkwy? You'll have to jump the curb to fish near Firewheel. You will see the cars there. Probably still very muddy right there now in the field. A truck is best. On hwy 78 and RC - they park on the side of the street, and same at Pleasant Valley and RC. For exact Firewheel parking, see map at the beginning of this thread. Thanks guys. I've got terrible allergies at the moment. When they subside I'll go out and catch some sand bass.

Anyone catching any crappie? I figure the sandbass will be there, wondering about the crappie. If you found some, what color combo did you use? Thanks Hey Kyle. I did really well with these both for sand bass and crappie 2 weeks ago. I got them at Bass Pro.
Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth. Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth. Wind from the east, the fish bite least. Wind from the west, the fish bite best.. __________________________________
