It was a very nice day on the creek. Not much fish for me. But it was so relaxing. Saw the log jam at 66. It's still there. But there are small Rapids on the side that let water through.

Just drove past Miller bridge on my way home, it is PACKED! Cars & trucks already all the way up the new parking lot to the road. Good thing I beat the traffic, and decided to fish at night instead of the morning! Not from RC, but still my lunch for today...

Hey Novice.
Good running into you yesterday. These from the spot you headed to yesterday afternoon?
I ended up taking my son to license test as All the spots were packed.

I ended up taking my son to license test as All the spots were packed. Good to see you too, Bubbler! Those crappie and 1 sandbass were from Lakeside Park. I only caught one right after I met you and it pissed me off...So at 9pm, I went back for revenge! I slayed the catfish running 6 poles and my submersible light off the small wooden peir. About 3 catfish in, I started catching huge crappie 12-13 inches and threw the cats back. Then it was on! Kept 4 large crappie and even caught that 16 inch sandbass on a minnow too. Probably 12 cats in all - released, about 6 crappie - 2 released, and that sandbass - kept. I feel much better now, and my belly is about to be full of that sweet crappie meat!

Excellent. We have to hook up over there. My normal spot are all filled with the fair weather fishermen and the greenbelt is too muddy (but has less trash thanks to a few good fishermen).
I'll have to show you my little light trick I use for the crappie and cats. Similar to your idea but actually kind of cool once you see the fish hit.
