Mr novice, I believe hell hole is what you are talking about, but you can't miss it during the run because there will be a ton of people there.

I think you are talking about the preserve, and if you are I don't think you would be able to launch a kayak there

Anyone fishing the Hell hole tonight? 4+ yrs ago when the run was on it always used to be tons there over night.

start with rooster tails, if they don't hit that, switch to jig and bobber, and if neither of those work bump a minnow along the bottom. If the fish don't bite a minnow bumped along the bottom, then they are completely shut down or aren't there.

i'll been miller bridge this morning.lot full and too much people.i walk down half mile caught 10 keeper and leave about 10 am stop by 66 bridgr try the creek i usually fishing area .20 more [ma ma] size.sandbass already up there the north ! both side the angler all got fish[sorry!only 80%] so ....take time fishing there .if you don't like too much people.good luck and good fishing duel

Go slow. Drag across the bottom if you have to. Mckinneycrappiecatcher gave good lure advice a few posts up. Don't be afraid to fish next to a group of others, as they are probably bunched up for a reason.
