It's getting better,they are getting bigger:     And as you can tell, night time is the right time. Got 18 of these last night between 10:25 and 11:15 pm, on red/chartreuse jig, 1/32nd. oz. Rudy

Yesterday from 5:30-6:30 pm, the crappie fishing at the mouth of creek #1 was absolutely insane! It has been a LONG time since i have seen as many crappie caught by so many people, at the same time. Minnows worked, jigs worked, crappie nibbles worked. Bobber worked, no bobber worked, it was insane. Admittedly the minner dunkers got the biggest ones, but the ones coming on jigs were not shabby! I was put under penalty of death, instant, if i took pics or did anything to give away location! I am to young to die, so you are getting a typed report. Color, brand name, none of that mattered! If you got it in the water, it got bit! The only thing was the size of the jig, if it was big(1/8 or bigger), head to the car empty handed. If it was 1/16th or smaller, fill that five gallon bucket!
It ain't getting any better than it is right now(wait a minute, it might, LOL),
THE REAL CRAPPIE SEASON IS IN FULL EFFECT!
GO FIND AND GETCHA' SOME!!!!!
