Check out Steve Douglas on you tube and watch some of his older vids where he catfishes out of a bass boat for many years, he had a real nice rod holder set up on that boat

You could consider mounting a rail down the length of the boat to secure everything to or you can just start drilling holes!

I like the Driftmaster type rod holders but I have an aluminum boat with wide gunwales and the bases were easy to attach. The rod holders are removable leaving just a base which is low profile and doesn't snag or cause a trip hazard. On a bass boat, a T-Bar holder in a base plate would make sense. An additional pedestal base should be easy enough to install and doesn't require much backing other than fender washers. It's going to be determined by the type of fishing you do and whether or not you want something that is permanently mounted or removable.

Let me get my Bee Readys mounted and figure out how many I have room for. I'll PM you as soon as I know how many I'll be selling.

How many drift masters do you have ? I have 4 Driftmaster bases on each side plus, I had Custom Marine Concepts in Spring, build an arch that is permanently mounted across the back of the boat that will hold 6 DM rod holders. The bases are only $8 apiece, but they are easy to make if you want to save a few bucks and have a little extra time on your hands.. I made a bunch of them for my last boat out of 1/2" thick aluminum bar stock. All you need is a saw, drill press and a 3/8" tap.
