Anybody have the skills to make me some, I'm looking for (2) 4 rod holders, on an 18" riser with threaded flanged bases. Let me know if you can make em, and how much you would charge me.

Because my guess is there is a good welded on here who needs to make some cash, and can do em for cheaper than the retail price of bee ready's. I love the real thing, but they are a little pricey for me.

If they turn out, I will. Especially since the ones he showed me don't require welding.

I am all for saving a buck. I use nothing but bee readys. Only thing I would change is call em home made rod holders. BeeReady has a patent.

Good point tex. Didn't think about that. Serj, I like those a lot. The ones in making will be similar.

I'll get the bases made tomorrow. I decided to order the d clips from amazon. I just ordered 30 for the price of 1 from lowes.

Interested in seeing how they turn out.

Of course once I see how to make them, then I'm going to have to figure out how to make a boat to attach 'em to.....but got to start some where. grin

Serj, those are some nice looking rod holders.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting on the water looking like a darn fool.
