I went to Athens this morning and fished from 630-900. Started with a frog around goat island and down some other pads.Had one blowup on the frog but he didnt take it. Switched to a Carolina rig and caught one dink. I know it's the dog days of summer but I'd like more that .5 fish every hour fished. fish

On my favorite lake I will throw a frog from sunrise to sunset during the summer. Hot + sunny + low or no wind = the better the frog bite.

Depends on the lake and cover. I love fishing a deep CB this time of year.

Air conditioning. Maybe fish til 10. It's too freaking hot. Not that mad at them anymore.

Caught over twenty last Saturday flipping 2ft or less on a craw worm but that's topical for my home lake all year.
