She goes there just for a confrontation. We are all going there to fish a commonly fished spot lol... how hard is it to understand? Doing nothing wrong vs. breaking the law... fishing vs. walking around screaming at people fishing... where is this grey area yall keep finding to get lost in and sympathize with her?

There's some Ft Worth boat club people who really dont like fisherman. They kicked out all the crappie fisherman that were members bc all the sail boaters are too rich and snobby. You'll most likely won't hear too much from them but they think they own the water.

I've spokewith GW and he said call him right away if it happens again . I got the since that he already knows who it is . He's well aware of the location and reassured me that I was perfectly within the law as long it was what I said.which it was . He said you can fish under a dock around the dock pitch into the slip. But don't pull your boat into a private slip or tie to dock or other property . All of which I knew .Like many have said call GW if YA run into a problem. And like some others have stated the boat club isn't very fisherman friendy. Lol but I do enjoy there fireworks show on the 4th of July. Lol

I've had a couple confrontations with some of the snobs in there, not fishing on the docks, but out of my boat. They told me that we weren't allowed to fish inside "their" area. Not saying that all of them are snobs, but there are a couple of them for sure.

Not being bullied around by crazy people doesn't make us internet tough guys. Saying you should just let someone bully you away from fishing within your rights makes you a punk, sorry. Beyond explaining it to them, I'd either ignore them and fish through (likely wouldn't be there terribly long if just fishing through anyways) or call the GW if they were excessive and refused to understand they are wrong. In this case, the woman admitted she knew she was wrong and to go ahead and call the GW coz she knew they were busy... you can't honestly sit here and sympathize with someone knowingly brekaign the law because she knows law enforcement is busy with some sort of medical emergency with a boat sunk, carefligth dispatched, etc. and side with this crazy ladydog... WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?

what about someone sending her a copy of the law concerning harassment? hell send it registered/certified with signature required, then let her rant on someone and call the gw.

Being ignorant of the law as it relates to fishing public water in private marinas doesn't make them snobs! That attitude is prevalent in all marinas!

Ft worth boat club gets away with a lot ,when it comes to the rights of others. When the lake was low they had a cable bouy across the opening on the east entrance . There was still enough water in there to boat around and fish. I don't see where they have that rite to block it out. But they get away with it. Iam sure there taxes are high but they are not fishermen friendly to say the least. I had a sail boater tell me I can't fish in there a took pics of my tx number . I just kept fishing and wished them a windy day. There's aways going to be people who don't like others enjoying the space they enjoy . It doesn't matter to me except when someone really goes over the top . Which is what the post was really about. The laws are clear but just like anything some get away with bending the laws to there favor. To some fishermen who are not tourney fishermen we molest the fish during the spawn. We put up with the stuff and share the water with them . The lakes will continue to get more and crowded . Bass fishermen just need to hold there heads up and smile and thank god we are in texas and not California . Lol be respectful of others but when your right just keep fishing and tell the sailboat guys you will pray for wind for em . And calmly tell the land owners they need to look into the laws and keep fishin . Keep tight line.

The only reason I might suggest you should go instigating a confrontation with this "lady" is because she's actually pretty hot. She was wearing white daisy dukes, unbuttoned, unzipped and rolled down in the front, with a little halter top on. From what I could tell the line about her kids swimming there was all BS, that body ain't had no kids. I'd post pics but then everyone would know I'm a facebook stalker, and I just can't have that. I'm a respectable business owner after all.

I am not the type that instigates but if I come to that dock and nobody is swimming, fishing, or any other activity that would keep me away I am fishing it. I am not going to make a bee line to her dock just because I can. I applaud anyone that stands up for whats right because in this day and age lawless people are winning. Now on the flip side I will say this to anyone willing to stand up "you better be able to cope with things when they go bad" because eventually at some point they will.

I just wanted a bass to bite . Lol I did notice she was attractive but I couldn't of gave those details to a cop. I guess its the age differance !!!!
