I remember back in the 80's when it was covered in Hydrilla.
The only grass I've seen since I've been going there this year is the stuff that gets all over everything from worms to crankbaits and looks like goopy seaweed. Yep, I fished it in the late '80s and early '90s and there was plenty of hydrilla. Fishing was great. Its never gotten back to those days.

There is plenty of grass on Fayette You must have never seen Fayette when it was loaded with grass. And kicking out numbers of big fish all the time. There is spiny grass and earlier in the year I found some drilla...
