glad your okay!! scary stuff!! Heres a question. i don't have super nice boat, so i dont carry insurance on it its wroth only 4 grand on a good day if some one hits me will their insurance cover it?? short answer is yes. longer version: you will most likely have to fight to get the 4k for it, they will try to lowball ya real bad on an older boat. I carry 10k on an 82 champion due to all the "goodies" I have added and the fact that it is in excellent condition even for its age. most policies will cover towed equipment but you should always go after the one that hit you before using your own ins. to cover a loss. one suggestion I make is to find out who the cell carrier is and asap have the call record subpoenaed also record the time of the accident (I know it is hard to think of all this right after) and if it shows they were on the phone at the time go after them and go at them hard. stupidity should be rewarded with severe consequences for bad results.

That's scary! Glad you are alright. I was being tailgated towing my boat in the rain on Friday and came close to the same result too many times. Hope insurance makes you whole again! I have yet to understand this one as well. When I tow my boat I hang out in the right hand lane but people will get right behind me. Do they not see the prop that would really hurt going into their heads or chest?
