 Bad Trip to the Lake-It happens FAST!

I was on my way to Lake Athens early Saturday morning...eastbound I20 around Duncanville when I feel a large impact/push from my rearend! I started spinning down the highway and ended up in a wet ditch, facing on coming traffic! I think I did a full 360 plus another half! My Tahoe and I were fine, but my boat was about 100 yards down the road...flipped and off the trailer. It's a complete loss. Best we can tell, the young lady must have either fallen asleep or was texting and veered into the side of my boat..setting me spinning. I recovered all my rods/reels/lures/etc. but both graphs and Talon are history. Now I'm in new boat search mode!

Wow, scary stuff! Cell phones and driving are worse than a drunk driver.

WOW, also glad you are ok. Also agree cell phone espically people who text and drive are dangerous.

Glad all is O.K. with you! Thanks for sharing. We all head out early in the a.m. I see a lot of drunks driving who I'm mindful to stay clear of but I seldom pay equal amount of attention behind me. Good reminder K!

Ouch is right. Sorry for your loss! Hopefully HER insurance covers everything! Might want to add an RIP to your 2006 Triton TR-186 in your signature. Do you know where it is going to salvage? I might be able to finally get some spare parts.  Glad you are OK!

Yes, yes they are. Texting and driving will never be punished as severely as driving over the legal alcohol limit because "good people" do it.
