Lake is rising quickly not gonna get to go till Saturday but expecting backs of the creeks to be pretty muddy. not sure about the water temp, but has been in the 50's to low 60's and rainy all week here. it is supposed to get up to close to 70 degrees air temp this weekend hopefully that will bring the water temp up closer to 60

Judging by the river out if the banks around Longview/Kilgore TB will be well above normal pool and really muddy up north! And it's going to get a lot more looking at the forecast today!

I am not making any decisions until the bourbon kicks in!

Spinner baits, senkos and rouges. Leave the rest at the house.

Heading out this evening, fishing all day tomorrow with high hopes. Any reports on the activities today or yesterday? (once again not looking for honey holes just seeing how people are doing on the lake)

I just got back from Toledo and the only issue I had was your "March Winds"....the fishing is getting better with the warmer days in my opinion. I mostly fished shallow on north side of Housen Bay in Hurricane Creek. Launched at Fin & Feather and the water looked fairly good but did get muddy in the back of the creeks. Baby brush hog or lizard, Rogue, trap....fish what you feel most confident in and fish slow. Hope you have a good time and catch a few nice ones.

Just arrived at our camp this evening. Will be fishing the next 2 weeks. We will be fishing the Texas Oilmans this coming weekend and the La. Oilmans the next weekend. I hope to double digit this next few days. It's been a long time since I've had a chance to fish the Bend with the lake this high.

Its 3ft higher than last year and most creeks are dirty. I think they have opened the flood gates too
