What date is your map? The mouth was only dry 2 years ago. Otherwise it has had a little more water.

I was saying to look @ the map for reference.to see the creek mouth and lake mouth.believe me I hunt or fish back there every weekend. Just trying to let them kno. You can see for yourself. If it was accessible I would have had duck hunters all year long.

Looks like the lake is up a bit. Think there will be a better run this year? Anyone scouted it yet?

Sorry I did not get back on here sooner, hard to do with work and family sometimes. I did not see anything last weekend, but water temp's are coming up. I will try again possibly tomorrow night. If I see anything I will post up!

They are only letting a trickle out of Ray Roberts dam so I can't imagine there will be much of a run this year:

I have not tried the Green Belt park off 380 at the top of Lewisville, but at least the water in the lake has come up so it can be seen north of Camp Copas again. If they don't make it all the way up to 428, then 380 might have some.....

I have never been up that far past Lewisville so can anyone tell me where I could launch an 8ft Pelican bass raider to get into the Creek?

Hi Fishbonz,

The green belt Park off 380, north side of 380 has a spot to access the water, but it will be a manual launch, no real ramp to use, only a "canoe" launch.

I tried at the 428 park for 2 hrs yesterday evening with no luck at all. Maybe the water never got high enough for the fish to come up??
