I always wanted to be like Happykamper when I grow up, so I bought me some Nutechs. Lost two of 'em in the bushes at Ray Roberts in the first hour.

That's funny right there, they will get snagged some, I have gone through great pains trying to get one back, btw the two you lost in the bushes, was there a fish on the other end ? lol.

Are the skirts tied on with wire or rubber?

Are the skirts tied on with wire or rubber? The Iovino version is wire tied, not sure about the other.

The only one I've ever lost was one I managed to tangle in a dock and couldn't get to. These are really good jigs for throwing into the scariest cover.

I fished with Happykamper in the Bud Lite tournaments. I can tell you one thing. They work!

How are the jigs to fish in the trees and roots, about getting hung up. I have been using the Mark Pack jigs without losing one for a couple years. I don't have to have a jig not hang up for me to buy, if it fishes good and has a trokar hook. These jigs are freat in the wood... you can adjust the dual appendages up or down depending if you are fishing rock or wood and helps with it not getting hung up. if you toss these jigs like any jig into a brush pile and yank it you will get hung but if you work it slow like a jig is intended then you will hardly ever get this jig hung.

Shayne, I wasn't being a negative Nancy--I was serious. Blood pressure went too high watching that video. A big ER bill later, and I'm ready to fish a Nutech Jig. well Mr. Carroll like I said I will put some in your hands and you will need to give them a fair run... and as for the hospital bill once you throw them you will need to go back...

I bought 6 last year at the Mesquite show and have used them since. Really like em. I have fished them in some gnarly stuff and still have 5 of them. The one thing I did notice was nearly every fish caught on them have been pinned in the roof of their mouth. Hold a craw real well and the skirt lasts good. I bought another dozen the other day from Tackle warehouse when they had the 20% off sale. Gonna try them like a shaky head with no skirt. LOL Sorry I just gotta try different stuff. Jimmy i use them shakehead style also i use the 3/16 on my speed craws and dont lose fish.

What hook is used on the Pro series. It looks like a Trokar on the Elite ones. I guess I got some of the early models because the hook was the old style not very sharp gold hook. yes you have some earlier models... the pro series has owner hooks and the elites have Trokars...
