A naked jig sitting on a rotating surface for 35 seconds while the guy who says "In a world..." in all of the action movie trailers talks--yep, blood pressure has spiked. Someone get me to the ER... well it did enough to get you to make a comment... now just give it a try what do you have to lose?

Nutech Jigs are the real deal....I was at lake fork tackle and they gave me one to try out. They do not hang up like a traditional jig head and stick them between the nostrals every time. They are my favorite jig to date and skip like a champ!

"What are you waiting for?"
Me? I'm waiting to see the way the skirt looks. And to see if the antennas fall out. Haha. if I put a skirted one in your hand would you give it a fair shot? and give it a review accordingly. yes. I'll take it to Ross Barnett and flip it in the lilly pads for a week. If I like it, I usually go through 50-60 jigs a year.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

How are the jigs to fish in the trees and roots, about getting hung up. I have been using the Mark Pack jigs without losing one for a couple years. I don't have to have a jig not hang up for me to buy, if it fishes good and has a trokar hook.

Shayne, I wasn't being a negative Nancy--I was serious. Blood pressure went too high watching that video. A big ER bill later, and I'm ready to fish a Nutech Jig.

I bought 6 last year at the Mesquite show and have used them since. Really like em. I have fished them in some gnarly stuff and still have 5 of them. The one thing I did notice was nearly every fish caught on them have been pinned in the roof of their mouth. Hold a craw real well and the skirt lasts good. I bought another dozen the other day from Tackle warehouse when they had the 20% off sale. Gonna try them like a shaky head with no skirt. LOL Sorry I just gotta try different stuff.

What hook is used on the Pro series. It looks like a Trokar on the Elite ones. I guess I got some of the early models because the hook was the old style not very sharp gold hook.

The Don Iovono jigs have an owner hook with a hand tied living rubber skirt, I think you can get a slilcone skirt as well. Another thing I like about them is the jig always lands upright, and most of the time you stick the fish in the top of the mouth, it also will work very well as a swim jig, comes through the water straight, dang I sound like an infomercial, sorry guys.

WOW, ordered mine, shipped same day (yesterday) and scheduled to be delivered Monday. Guy's don't watch that video of the jig on the rotating thing. Go to their site and watch how that jig swims and goes through some nasty stuff and still stays upright and no hang ups. That is the video that sold me. I am waiting to see how the weed guards hold up and the paint. If everything is quality, which I would expect at that price, then I will be loading up on some more. I don't mind the price if the jig lasts 5 times longer and I don't lose em. If I pay $2.75 for a jig and lose it to a hang up on the third cast, I am already down $5.50 when I tie on the second jig. AND I HATE feeling the bite and not stickin the fish. Hope this jig is different. Shayne, I would love to see you make a jig just like what you have but with a screwlok on the head so that I could run the craw above the skirt. I modified some jigs to do it but I would rather just buy them. Here a link to what I redesigned. Football jigs with screwlok heads
