Awesome Andrew!

We had some good times back in the day fishing a jig on Fork when it was miserable cold and we did not see another boat all day. That one blue bird cold, cold day a few years back when we went out for like 4-5 hours and smoked them will be one of the best memories of fishing of my entire life. I cannot remember how many fish we had over 6 pounds, but it was stupid!

I sure learned a lot about the jig from my time on the water with you and this may sound like a shameless plug, but Andrew is one of the best jg fishermen not only on Fork, bit through out the country.
If you get a chance to fish with him during "jig season", do it and you will not regret it.

Thanks for the very informative article. I've yet to catch a fish on a jig until I read this (likely due to lack of knowledge/confidence). After reading your write-up, I went the last 2 times and fished only with a black/blue jig. After forcing myself to stick to it, I wound up with a 24in & 21in bass and can't wait to get back out this weekend. Thanks again!
