Power Tackle pg104.5, 70# daiwa samurai braid, and I prefer a 6 gear ratio lews tournament pro I also use the PG 104.5 it's a great rod for any type of A-Rig! I also use a Lew's super duty 6.3.1 with 25lb Sun Line Shooter or 65lb Power Pro braid. Depends on the lake for the line.

Kistler makes an awesome a-rig rod. I like it with the heavy duty lews.

Not to hijack this thread... but for those of you that throw it a lot. What's your trick to getting it back when its hung up in deep water where you can't reach it with your rod tip? (Besides using light wire hooks) Same as any other lure; lure retriever on a string or a lure retrieving pole.

Depends if you did set the hook in the stump lol, if you didn't, you can usually troll past it in the opposite direction you were reeling comes I'm done. If you set the hook in the stump usually a lure retriever or just break.

I keep a collapsible 12 ft lure retriever in the boat. I have also been known to lose them, but that wasn't because I hung it now.
