Sorry to hear that, I hope they take care of you. I've never purchased a boat but I always get more taken care of when I contact corporate. Sounds like they might have been using your boat for personal use to me. I know boat repairs usually take a while but usually there is actually a repair involved. Sounds like you are handling it the right way though. You left it in their hands and weighing all your options. I hope you get a new boat and catch a trophy on your first day. Good luck to you.

My current boat was payed off and I had been saving my money to put down on new plus trade in for a total of 10k. I decided to get another tracker boat since I have good luck with them. I ended up picking out the 21ft center console grizzly in white, I had them rig it out with everything I wanted and couldn't wait to pick it up. I went and picked it up and noticed a few scratches and showed them and they said they would get with tracker about fixing it.

I took it out fishing the first time and noticed a good size bubble in the front deck where u stand in the deck it's self and would pop in and out and make a loud noise every time u stepped on it ( very annoying), then when I got home I started wash it by hand and the floor coating started peeling off.

The following Monday I called the dealer and told them and took it by there so the could see. They called tracker and was sending it back to get it fixed and arranged pickup. I took boat back up there to to drop off but before I let them take it I videoed the whole boat and took pics of every inch of boat and left.

So a week later I get a call and they tell me that they are not going to warranty the coating and but will give me a $300 gift card so now I'm not happy but I don't say anything as long as the front deck gets fixed.

Now fast forward 3.5 months. They call me last week and tell me it's ready and I tell them I will be there today on the 19th to get it. It's 4hr drive from my house. I arrive at the dealer and only person that is there is one service guy. I look at front deck and notice they didn't fix it, they put something under the deck to brace it up so now I have this large bubble sticking up that I have to walk on to fish.

Now I'm upset! So I start looking at boat and notice were they ran the side of my boat into something and pant is gone and a dent, look at other side and same thing, I go to back of boat and there is scrapes going down my sponsons on back, then I notice a few big scrapes on top edge of boat, then the fun begins I start checking the bottom of the boat and I get beyond p***** it looks like they drug my boat across the parking lot off the trailer, there are big scrape marks going down the bottom of boat, scratches and coating is scraped off in several areas and the bottom has several dents in it!

Needless to say I took pics and service guy wanted me to take boat anyways and said he would talk to the manager. That didn't happen I left boat there and will be calling my self.

So needless to say I'm sick! And need some advice!!

Lawyer up. This is the very reason Ranger, Stratos and Triton are fixing to go down hill.

All of that really helps the OP get his issues resolved. On a serious note lets stay on track and see what the outcome of this one is. A lot of us are curious to see how it plays out. The OP has been respectful and very composed so lets all do our part to keep it that way.

Only way to get this fixed is to go back to the dealer and go all silverback gorilla on them!!! On a serious note, seems to me that contacting Tracker directly and trying to work with them might be the best course of action. Doesn't sound like the dealership you purchased the boat gives an F about this situation. Lawyer might be the route you have to take to get anywhere.

A guy that worked for BPS used to fish the working man's tourneys at Hubbard. He bought new Z8 back in like 2009 or 2010 and be had some major issues with the glass on his hull. He ended up having to hire an attorney to get any results, and he worked for BPSz. I think he got a new hull after hiring an attorney.

Good luck and hopefully they will make it right for you, without having to get the attorneys involved.

Who $hit in your wheaties today? Your making assumptions. I never said anything about what brand boat I owned or have owned. Everyone on the forum knows BP Marine track record for customer service, and it follows that what got Forrest Wood's Ranger to being the standard by which all others are compared has gone down hill with each successive buyer. That's my point.

And P.S. BassCat, Cummins Powered Ram, Browning, and Craftsman, so there..... banana

That's terrible. I wouldn't accept it and would demand a brand new boat or a total refund. There's no reason they should expect a man to give up his hard earned cash for a well used and damaged boat.

I would also demand they have the new boat in and rigged, or a total refund in two weeks or talk to my attorney.

The Dealor more than likely carries a garage liability policy to cover the damage done while on his property, however if the employee took the boat for his own personal use without permission I assume, criminal charges probably would be warrant.

With the TX fishing and hunting show coming up in Dallas I think I would make the trip there. All of the big wigs and factory reps will be there so it shouldn't be a problem getting there attention for a sit down. Just get everything they promise in writing at the time you talk to them. Take copies of your paper work and pictures. If you cant get results, you can always talk to prospective customers about the wonder customer service these companies have...that will get you results, and if it doesn't...get legal on them.
