Does anyone fish for crappie at the Lake Tyler Boat slips? If so, do they produce?

I would also like to know this. If I knew where some boat slips on lake Tyler were to fish Id show up and just fish them. That's the only way to know if there's fish there. If you wanna tell me where some are I'll go scout it out for ya haha.

Are there any boat slips on Lake Tyler that're still in the water?

Yes, at the marina, but I believe the water is shallow even when the lake is high.

Jpowell-they are at the marina. I don't recall if you can access them w/out a key.

The lake is in good shape/full but there isn't much water at the slips. There is a fishing barge that people seem to do well on. I've never personally fished from it but I know lots of people that do. I think they have brush out for Crappie around it.

Is the barge still open? I called the number listed of the TPWD website and it says it is no longer working.

Yes it is and in great shape. You can purchase minnows, ice, drinks, etc...starting at about 6:30am daily.

There are a lot of fish at the marina. But you have to have a boat slip with boat in it. Fritz barge is open and doing fairly well.
