I can't stand guys like that. I fish out of a 20 year old Stratos now, but for years I fished out of a Ski and Fish. I guess it gave me a complex about my boat, but it also made me want to prove myself even more. Hang in there, it's way more about the fisherman than the boat.

I read one guys post where he was asked "What kind of fish do you catch in that boat?" by another angler in a much nicer boat at a tournament. His response was "The same kind as you, only bigger." I always though that was a good comeback.
