That is really too bad about that fish! It happens though. At least Ivie has caught some water and seems to be producing well.

Did you find that fish before or after the rise? I just got a call from my buddy who fished there yesterday...nada. I think it may take a couple of weeks for things to settle out after all that new water came it.

The fishing is pretty decent already. Know a guy that went out last weekend (it was MUDDY) and caught 3 8-9lbers. Just gotta know where they are. Love that lake. I was there 2 weekends before it caught 12+ feet. Need to get back down there just to thank the LORD for the the rain. Supposed to be a wet year, hopefully it continues.

I live hundreds of miles from Ivie and have never been, but I'm thankful you guys got some water. I hope the Lord sends you a lot more.

Thanks for the prayers, Razorback. The system that moved through was a true blessing for Ivie and Twin Buttes, but all our lakes out here are in dire shape. We appreciate everyone's continued prayers ... smile

I had a couple unders this past weekend, didn't do much fishing saturday, more scouting. Sunday we had a storm blow in and stay it til noon or so! We got soaked, the wind shifted several times and it was rough. First place in our little club tourney was 15lbs 3 fish with a 7.22 kicker. Had 4 fish weighed in over 6 lbs and they were all caught before the storm hit. Hope that helps, pm me if you have any more questions
