I kinda think Ivie will be the site of this year's Bass Champs championship. especially after it has come up now. Just a hunch but NOTHING has been announced and in no way am I saying it is gonna be there.

The lake has come up 10+ & there's been a fish or 2 caught. 14#+, no details, except the angler was Chance Woods

The lake has come up 10+ & there's been a fish or 2 caught. 14#+, no details, except the angler was Chance Woods Wow. That lake is setting up to fish REALLY well this summer. . .

That's one beauty of a fish. I've never been to that lake but I'm glad it finally caught some water. It was getting scary low.

Gorgeous fish. If all of that regrowth on the banks was to get covered up again, that lake will be unbelievable. The fresh water appears to have made the big girls feel better and a little frisky. I love it and I am very happy for Jerry at Elm Creek. I hope it rains some more this summer....Please Lord.

Here's the story on that fish,,,, I was fishing with Jeff Walker in my boat, not a guided trip, we fish tourneys together. This fish came up to the top of the water, I threw up to the fish and she would not bite. She was upright, swimming normal but we noticed something wrong. Jeff jumped on the trolling motor and I grabbed my net and scooped her up. She was alive, put her in the well with sure life, but noticed she had an infection in her gills and was not moving her gills on the left side and later died in my boat. She weighed 14.23, sure sucks watching a fish like that die.
