Acoustic Tennis Jackson Cuda does really good. FINALLY! The winds have layed down just enough to get in on some fishing!

Everyone has different thoughts on what is best. Is a kayak better for BTB that pops up over a wave or punches through it? Is it better to have a kayak that can get through the surf zone best or one that is most comfortable when you get where you're going. Is it more important to be able to carry a big load of gear at a slower pace or a kayak that gets you there and back fastest. To each his on. I've seen guys that learned how to handle surf and wind in some kayaks that you'd never consider best for BTB yet made it seem easy compared to guys that had the so called best that money could buy. Find a kayak that you like best for the way you most often fish and learn to use it everywhere. You'll become a better paddler and you'll appreciate more the kayak that you now have, whatever it is.

Acoustic Tennis Jackson Cuda does really good. Sharkbait fishes in a Tarpon 100. At some point skill can make a boat look more stable than it is. This may also be an option http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/9988644/Searchpage/1/Main/806650/Words/SharkBaitTV/Search/true/Re:_The_Best_And_Worst_Of_Shar#Post9988644 Nice Man. I can only dream of doing stuff like that...
What boat is it your in the turned over with ya? tarpon 100, not offshore safe... Everyone has different thoughts on what is best. Makes way to much sense for an internet discussion.

This guy makes it looks easy. But, look closely & notice there are a few things missing. 1st he's not using a fishing kayak Its not even a sit on yak & If he was fishing he might have at least 1 cooler with some ice, rods, rod holders, a gaff, maybe a Fish Bag, Anchor, Bait, pliers, knife... Hes still pretty good

Looks like the green "Fishing Yak" in this video may be a Viking. They are still playing in the surf & not fishing. Some days its better to leave your gear behind and go play in the surf. Youll gain some good experience in doing so. I understand Vikings are made in Austrailia and are suppose to be available in the US. I haven't paddled one personally but they look well built. Malibu, Ocean, & Cobra Kayaks all make some nice BTB fishing yaks IMO. When the surf looks like this, you can get BTB in an inner tube. But days like this do not come but maybe 1-2 days a week depending on the time of yr and location. Summer is the best time to BTB because the big game fish have returned and the swells are usually more ideal for BTB fishing. If you have a specific question concerning BTB angler yaks, dont be afraid to post up or send a PM. Ill be glad to help if i can.

In the first video. He got unseated coming back because a wave filled the kayak making it heavier and lowering it in the water and also at the same time floating him above it putting him off balance enough so that he turtled.
You can have Ocean waves like those without much beach area wind. Those waves can form form from storms further out in the ocean. Some Hawaiian waves come all the way from Siberia.
