I caught a rock about the size of a softball on a crankbait..........the rock was round and how that hook caught it I will never know.

turtle with crank off the bottom... am starting a list of animals I have hit with a bait while fishing.
List includes
turtle
frog(he ate it)
miscellaneous shore birds
Porcupine(at Amistad and I have witnesses)
Racoon
Beaver

THAT sounds exactly like what would happen to me. Hottest lake in Texas for bass and end up catching anything other than LM Black Bass! God Bless Accidently hooked 50 sand bass while BASS fishing on Fork.

caught a couple dozen HUGE bullfrogs on on upper end of Murvaul with a buzzbait and robber frog. and a lake loon at lake o pines on a small jerk bait, man what a fight that thing put up, both to reel in and to remove hooks, OUCH!!
