I have an older Skeeter with a 200 Merc outbd, the problem is I can not get the power trim to go up or down using any switch I can hear the selinoid click when the switch is activated but nothing happends however I can use a jumper wire from the battery and can get it to go up and down any suggestions on what might be the issue. Thanks for any help anyone can provide

Make shure you have 12v to the big red wire connections of the trim solenoids. Is the red wire from the starter solenoid to the trim solenoids fused (3 ram trim). Is the trim a 3 ram or single ram? Single ram trim the pump and solenoid is in the battery compartment and has a + and - battery connection.

Same exact thing happened to me its your relay switches but don't get the ones from autozone they don't work either get them from an actual marine store they're 22 dollars a piece and it'll have 5 prongs with a gel coating it takes 2 seconds to put them on

There is a relay for up and a relay for down and if it wont go up or down both relays would have had to went out at the same time which is possible but if that is the case I would think there is a problem somewhere else causing it.
