With the first season of the SETX High School Fishing Association now behind us, I would just like to thank Lews, Ford, Skeeter and Academy along with the multitude of other sponsors of the SETX High School Fishing Association. Without the tremendous amount of support from great companies such as you all, none of this would be possible.
Also, Thanks to Brian Thomas, Paul Squire, Ted Odell, Tom Selman and everyone else who has taken time out of their lives to make sure this is the best tournament trail in the world. They do a tremendous amount and never ask for anything in return.
There are also a tremendous amount of parents, advisors and community members that make everything possible for these high school kids.

That is great, without parents and volunteer this would not be possible.
Thanks,

This is an awesome program for HS kids! I've always bragged on HS rodeo and how it keeps kids focused on something besides the mischievous things kids get into nowadays. It also involves kids with their parents. HS fishing is just as good as HS rodeo but even better in the fact that more families can get into and support a kid fishing. Great job to everyone involved in getting this deal started and making it happen!

Some really good people throughout this organization. Some of the most selfless people I have ever been around. Thank you again to the sponsors Javelin mentioned above. Just an awesome show yesterday!! $60,000 given away. Just WOW.

As being involved in the sport up here in the North Texas area, I can tell you it Takes a LOT of work by people that never ask for anything back, unless it is for the kids. Hats off to the SETX group, you all have some amazing sponsors and volunteers to run the events as large as you do.
Congratulations to all involved.

It is great to hear all of the awesome things about the program. I am meeting with our high school principal and a representative from our school district on Wednesday (Comal ISD just north of San Antonio) It is the first meeting and my hopes are to get them enthused about sanctioning a team/club across our district. I'm fired up and realize it will be a lot of work, but work worth doing. I am hoping it goes well and we can have a program up and running by the next school year. So if you are in the San Antonio area, cross your fingers that you will see some messages about needing volunteers and boat captains.
