 New POB and Decent Day on Ivie

My brother and his son hit Ivie about 7:30 Saturday morining and fished til 2:00. It was a great day to be on the water. Beautiful clouds and blue sky. As I caught my first bass for the day the whites began pushing shad to the surface so I grabbed my crank bait rod and put two in the boat (yet released to get a little bigger). Tow guys in a bass boat were passing they stopped and fished whites with me for a while. They were there from Lubbock and good guys. They had a beautiful Skeeter! Met back up with my brother and nephew and we crossed the cove back to the south shoreline near the boat ramp. Began thorwing a 12-inch power worm in Motor-Oil with red flake. Few minutes later I caught a 7 lb 7 oz pig! New personal best for me! She also measured 24-inches long. Was worried she would not make it because I hooked in the gills but she was rehabbed and swam back home.     I am truly adicted to Ivie now!
