yesterday, I drew a gentleman at the weekender at chambers, after talking a while, we discovered we had chewed not only the same dirt in nam, but my unit had releaved his unit during a really bad time in 69.
No we did not win or even cash checks, fish were slow, but to me it was one of the best days I have had on the water in a long time. To find someone who knew what it was all about, just talk of our experiences, and reminisce was wonderful.
To my brother in arms Bill, God bless you my friend and comrade, may your life be as wonderful as possible, and for sure you will go to heaven, cause like me and many others, we spent our time in hell for sure.
