Not sure what several is, but we have only had two heavy slot fish brought to the scales. One got a warning, the other got a ticket.

I have never been big on the Game Warden sitting there and writing tickets for fish that are slightly under. They should be significantly under. You could have one touch the line and later its just short when measuring on both sides of the fish. To me it should be 1/4" or more under. Seems with the warning that they might be ticketing those that are significantly under.

Way too many people out there blatantly breaking Fish and Game Laws.

LOL I remember reading on here about a month ago, someone said there are NO fish in Athens, go to Fork.

I think there are many other lakes around here with no fish when you compare them to Fork and Athens...hahahahaha

I believe the McDonalds had 36 overs one year.

Fishspanker. The Legend rules on unders is that they cannot touch the 16" line on the check it stick. A lot of those getting warnings and tickets were using other brands of sticks.

One of the 8 lb slots I heard the game warden ask the guy if he knew the differnce between the 23 and 24 line?

Sounds to me the fish wasn't even close to 24.

Should have been 16" or slightly over for Fork. Point was "slightly".
