HogOn, Mrs. Dutch, and I had a chance to rip some lips on Friday. What a nice surprise to see that the Tawakoni Lake level had come up about 3 feet. All that nice new fresh water seems to have slowed the Crappie action a bit. We really had to work for them on Friday. A lot of the places we have been catching fish were totally dead. It took awhile for us to figure out that unless you were in 10-12 feet of water, you just weren't going to find fish. The fish that we did manage to catch still love Lane's thump jumper in High Noon or Live Wire colors. They especially like it pitched and falling.

Yup, Janice caught the first fish. It ended up being the Biggest Crappie of the day as well.
