tried shallow in 2-5 fow in timber...tried the rocks corking... this is may the fish should be all but jumpin in da boat.i was using frozen cut shad anybody got any ideas

This time of year you should be using fresh bait every cast and re-baiting every 15-30mins.

cant imagine fresh shad would work that much better than frozen.... frozen has been working great until 3 wks ago when I went messin around on my girl ms. Lewisville went to venice la.and my trip was epic new pb 130# yellow fin tuna and met a new redneck brother ( the guide)

Get some fresh shad, makes a big difference. Might try some prepaired baits also like sudden impact.

There's a reason why most of us will spend two hours or whatever it takes every morning to get fresh bait!!! Doesn't take me 10 minutes to get fresh bait. The problem is I'll spend 2 hours to catch just one catfish. What am I doing wrong?

Hmmm..I've caught lots of cats with ghost minnows plus other variety of fish. I don't use much shad just strictly ghost minnows. Again what works best go with it. Good luck

Frozen bait sucks get rid of it and catch fresh bait shad or bluegill

Use fresh cut shad. It's also important that you hold your face strait.

I have been using frozen shad from wrc and have been kickin butt..but I got some fresh shad and did really well last sat and wed. I have not used punchbait in 3 or 4 yrs cause you don't often catch blues with it but i'm using dk garlic in the morn.to try to catch some channels for a fry that's coming up
